John Adams Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Someone brought up awarding DePelle (?) John King of All Religious Posters. Sounds good. Others come to mind. King of Arrogance--(too easy) King of All Racists--(too easy) King of Unions--(too easy) Queen of Liberals--(too easy) King of Smokers--(too easy) King of Gay Gyms--! Maybe we don't need an award process after all.

DC Tom Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 King of Arrogance--(too easy) Not that easy. Darin would at least get a nomination, I'm sure. I'd still win, of course...
Chef Jim Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Not that easy. Darin would at least get a nomination, I'm sure. I'd still win, of course... No I think we'd demand an arrogance death cage match.
KD in CA Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 King of Gay Gyms--! Steely Dan doesn't post here enough to qualify.
3rdnlng Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Not that easy. Darin would at least get a nomination, I'm sure. I'd still win, of course... Of course you would say that.
John Adams Posted April 14, 2010 Author Posted April 14, 2010 With credit to Joe Miner, we have a nomination for King of Morans
Magox Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Can Magox be king of WSJ links? I prefer to be king critic of Obama's fiscal policies, thank you.
LeviF Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I prefer to be king critic of Obama's fiscal policies, thank you. Fair enough. I nominate The Big Cat as King of the Back-Pedal
Magox Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Fair enough. I nominate The Big Cat as King of the "Ironic" Back-Pedal
John Adams Posted April 14, 2010 Author Posted April 14, 2010 Not that easy. Darin would at least get a nomination, I'm sure. I'd still win, of course... Anyone who would nominate him over you can't post at PPP.
Gene Frenkle Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 No I think we'd demand an arrogance death cage match. A net gain no matter how it turns out.
Chef Jim Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 A net gain no matter how it turns out. Oh the entertainment value would be off the charts.
IDBillzFan Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Can Magox be king of WSJ links? I suspect he posts more links to Bloomberg than WSJ, though regardless of where his links originate, they almost always have good content. I mean, okay...it ain't Bill Nye quality content, but it's usually pretty good nonetheless.

I mean, okay...it ain't Bill Nye quality content, but it's usually pretty good nonetheless. For some reason, whenever I see the CBO thread bumped to the top, I think, "Magox posted a new WSJ link?" They do have good content, which is why I conceded that he should get the nomination "King critic of Obama's fiscal policies."
