Virgil Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I keep seeing where all these QB's are projected to go, but the more I think about it, the more I wonder. The first three rounds of a draft are for starters. While not a lot, but QB's taken in the second still usually get paid some okay money. So, with that, what teams out there will actually be looking to take a QB in the first two rounds? AFC East Buffalo - Obviously New England - No Jets - No Dolphins - Everything I see says Henne is there guy and that's it AFC West Chiefs - Cassell Broncos - Maybe, but just spend money on Quinn and still have Orton. Raiders - Probably, Chargers - No AFC Central Colts - No Titans - Probably, Young is getting another chance, but on a short leash Texans - No Jaguars - Yes, will pry take Tebow in the second if still there. AFC North Steelers - Maybe, who knows what's up with Roethlesburger Ravens - No Bengals - No Browns - Yes NFC East Giants - No Eagles - No Redskins - No Cowboys - No NFC West 49ers - Yes Rams - Yes Cardinals - Maybe - Looking at FA's Seahawks - Probably, Just traded for Whitehurst, but still looking NFC North Bears - No Packers - No Vikings - No Lions -No NFL South - Falcons - No Panthers - Maybe, they seem to be sold on the new kid Saints - No Bucs - Maybe, but it looks like Freeman will get his chance So, by my count, that is 4 teams who are looking for a starter out there. With the Jags, that's Tebow, Bradford, Clausen, and one more. Every other team might take someone, but i'd be surprised to see them use a top 3 pick on them. With that, if the Bills aren't sold on Clausen, or if a miracle happens and they are able to trade up and get Bradford cause the Rams are dumb, then I think they can wait until the 4th to get who they want.
