Munch
6'3, 220 lbs. ESPN's scouts inc. has him rated 6th best QB prospect in this class, behind Bradford, Clausen, McCoy, Pike and Tebow in that order. Anyone know anything about him? He is from Eastern Washington University (1AA), so obviously he didnt play against top tier talent. Last year his stats were passer rating of 156.46, threw for 3,830 yards and 33 TDs and only 6 picks. He seems to have the size, but I just havent heard anything about him. He has very good career stats as well, and nix likes that (again not D1 talent but still). Maybe a name to consider in later rounds. Here is a stats link for ya: http://espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=171156 A little more from NFL draft scout: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dspro...0&genpos=QB heres another interesting article on him: http://www.championshipsubdivisionnews.com...s-nfl-st?blog=2 Some other stuff I saw on him said he has very good arm strength and good accuracy. This kid didnt even get invited to the combine, but is now ahead of guys like Lefevour, Skelton and Jevan Snead. According to Scouts, inc. anyways. So, has anyone else heard or read anything on this kid, and if so what do you think?
silvermike
If we decide to beef the lines early, he seems like a worthy flyer in the 4th-6th rounds.

Yeah I agree he seems to look pretty decent...i wonder why he wasnt invited to the combine though, and all of a sudden hes ahead of lefevour and such on some draft boards? seems a little weird to me no one was talking about him and now hes ahead of guys predicted to go in 3rd round. Steely Dan
Nolan Nawrocki has a problem with his accuracy on the deep throws. I'd say pass.

Pretty big kid decent arm, nothing terribly exciting or flashy about him. Could be worth a shot, but would need to be a mid to late round pick. As a disclaimer, I will note that I watched Flacco a lot, including against App State in the 08 Championship game and thought he had major bust written all over him. Shows why I dont pick the players...

But aqfter doing some research, and watching some film on this kid, he seems to have what it takes- I guess I can kinda see how he has gone up some draft boards, but I think id still take Lefevour over him, sorry todd mcshay.
