Our offense has been arguably the leagues worst over the last 10 years or so. I don't wanna hear about that one year Bledsoe was good. Our O is miserable and it's been miserable to watch. While there's so much talk of drafting a pass rush specialist with our first pick and maybe Cam Thomas with our second, offense needs to be addressed in round 1 and 2. Qb and LT more specifically.

Clausen + Gaither or

Bulaga/Williams/Davis + Tebow

Either one plus maybe the addition of Jason Campbell would greatly improve our offense. We have added Edwards and Davis to help fortify the front 7 on D. While they still need to add a couple more pieces, our defense is MUCH further along than our offense. Let's hope Chan can push the issue.

Please don't tell me how our Qb's are better than either of those scenarios. That's just rediculous.

While it is true that we have added some needed players on defense through FA, I think we should still pay attention to the defense in the draft.

I do agree though that we should go offense in the first round, whether its a QB, LT or the outside shot of Spiller. After that I think we have to go best player available at all positions we have a hole at, which is a pretty big list.

As long as we address need positions without making reaches in the draft, I'll be happy.

I agree completely. The defense is actually pretty good. With the signings of Edwards and What's his name (ILB) the only pressing need is NT. Sure we could use an upgrade at linebacker but that can wait until next year.

The offense is far from being even mediocre. At least 2 upgrades are necessary on the oline, there's not much going on at the QB position, and there's only 1 WR with significant NFL experience.

Offense clearly needs to be the focus. If the offense had been only kind of sorry last yr we're looking at an 8-8 yr, and with a mediocre offense a winning record isn't unthinkable.
