Armchair GM Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 To me, making a move to get Gaither from Baltimore is a no brainer. The kid is a monster of a human being, he's had success at left tackle over the past couple season and is on the right side of 25 yr's old. I understand the philosophy that you build through the draft, but why not put a proven young guy at LT rather than rolling the dice on a draft pick... Trade Lynch/Whitner to replace the picks we give up for Gaither. Now, I'm not a huge "trade Lynch" guy, but at this point, considering his failure to show for the so called "optional" workouts & his past troubles...bye bye. This way, if we take Spiller in the first, not so many of us will shoot ourselves and it opens the rest of the draft to pick up a quality DT & LB and depth on the lines and possibly @ WR...
Steely Dan Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I think Gaither wants to stay in the Washington area and that's why the Deadskins seem to be the frontrunner.
