kegtapr
Has anyone ever made their own window screens using these kits? I priced assembled screens online and they kill you with the shipping because of the odd size. Can a rookie easily do this?

I just did my own last week and this is how they came out. And I'm not very handy.
WWVaBeach
It's a piece of cake. I keep a roll of screen in the shed. The tool is like a pizza cutter. That is all you need along with a pair of scissors.

That part looks easy, I was just wondering how hard it is to get the screen tight and not looking like a ruffles potato chip.

Somehow I pictured you living in nicer digs. Kegtapr - There's nothing to it. I've installed hundreds of screen windows and doors on submarines for the Polish Navy.
