What a combo! 2 of my favorite things that i dont really enjoy together, unfortunately. the caffeine just gives me the jitters and makes me super antsy and paranoid while on the Vitamin M. The Dean
In fairness to Dean,he said the country is broke for MANY reasons. I didn't take that as blaming it all on the Bush administration. Thanks, but clearly there are some who simply cannot read and/or have no ability to interpret outside of their rigid preconceptions. I very clearly stated there were many reasons. Should I conclude that, by leaving out certain issues other posters think they make ZERO difference in the economy of our country, or any particular state? (The crazy thing is, I think some here may actually think that.)

The Dean
Care to explain how the Iraq war and the Bush administration has !@#$ed our economy here in CA? Let me see if I have this right. You want me to explain, in a message board post, the intricate relationship between the national economy and the economy of its largest state. Furthermore, you want me to explain it to a guy who read these two comments in one two-sentence paragraph ("The country is in financial difficulty for MANY reasons..." and "...it isn't the only reason.") and somehow decided two of the examples I gave were the ONLY reasons. Do I have that right? I'm going to have to pass on that very enticing offer. But thanks, anyway.

Chef Jim
Giving tax cuts (to the rich) (The only President to ever do so) during wartime sent the National debt soaring.($5.5 trillion under Bu$h) ($5 trillion under Reagan-just for the record ) (Funny how the Repugs are now trying to pin the National debt on Obama ) Giving free rein to the rats on Wall St. really tanked the economy. Mmmmmm......What was the (Pssst...trillion dollar black hole) Iraq war about again.????? Look we have another brainiac. Tell me how all those things you claimed put CA in a fiscal hole? Mmmmmm......What was the (Pssst...trillion dollar black hole) Iraq war about again.????? Another lemming buying into the hackneyed, hate the rich, class warfare propaganda cliche. The rich already pay way more than their share and really should be bitching not you. The rich and successful aren't your enemy pal. Your security blanket government is. No matter what party happens to be running things. Obama, however, is a worse kind of douche. He is a true believer. One that is fueled by a socialist cause. Whatever anyone might think of Bush, at least he didn't suffer from this. That alone makes him twice the president this current ahole is.

I think someone like you, who has demonstrated the reading comprehension of a 5th grader (I'm being generous here) may want to think before throwing stones. In this conversation, you have demonstrated you can't find your ass with both hands.
ieatcrayonz
Way overdue. As you know, I have been preaching this for many years. There is a vast underground economy that remains untaxed, unregulated and costs the govt a fortune to police. Legalize it! Why not legalize murder? That costs the government a fortune to police as well. If you legalize pot you might as well legalize murder because you are going to have a lot more violent criminals running around.
