tonyjustbcuz Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Thanks for the slow trigger finger...lol I've got a strong feeling the Bills are going to shake things up on draft day and that is kind of the way I hope it all goes down. That would be great! This needs to be a draft like we haven't seen since the 80's when we started to assemble parts like Bruce Smith etc....It's funny because Indy (B.Polian) assembled the team in the image of the '90 Bills. Piece by piece he self-admittedly put the team together. Peyton Manning was drafted in the image of Kelly, all he did was basically replicate what he accomplished in Buffalo. He followed the recipe card and put in the right ingredients. Now, roles being reversed we should emulate exactly what has made the Indy Colts organization successful and carefully add and subtract based on similar transactions and drafting. I know it's a bit different with the current FA system, and salary cap limitations, but we can build a winner here! It all starts with your QB, and your guys up front in the trenches. I am excited about this draft and hope that the 2010 draft is referred to the beginning of something special !!
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Doesn't sound like a player that Nix would draft and then move to a position he hasn't played. He's a food player though. This is from Iupati himself: "I know left tackle is where the money is, but I've played left guard all my life," Iupati said. "It's nice being considered the top guard available, but being more versatile should help my draft stock." http://www.profootballweekly.com/2010/02/2...uarded-optimism
BUFFALOTONE Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 It makes sense to draft Iupati to play RT if Tebow will be our pick in the 2nd. Some one has to protect his blind side.
