loyalbillsfan Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/03/26/r...to-visit-bills/ I'm sure they are just doing due diligence but...this guys is the second coming of J.P. Losman. I'll be happy if we draft almost anyone else over him. I'd prefer one of the top tackles, Derrick Morgan, I would even take C.J. Spiller over this guy.
Mr. ChumChums Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Don't worry, they're just doing their due-diligence.
metzelaars_lives Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 http://espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=231813 I know, he sucks, look at his numbers from last year!!! What a joke!!! And he did it all with a broken toe. And he's prototypical NFL QB size. God forbid.
reddogblitz Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Don't worry. By the time the Bills draft, he'll be long gone ...
loyalbillsfan Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 I know Clausen looks good on paper, he had very strong numbers last year at Notre Dame. I just don't think he has the intangibles to be a a successful quarterback in the NFL. I know analysts are not always right, far from it, but people are already comparing him to J.P. Losman. He has been described as elitest, entitled, immature, and his leadership ability has been in question. Now looking at him physically, he is fairly accurate, and has probably an above average arm. I don't think he can be an effective QB in Buffalo throwing down the field because I think he relies too heavily on his receivers going up and getting the ball...in other words he doesn't have the strength or touch to throw the ball down the field. IMO, if this guy wasn't in a pro style offense in college no one would even be looking at him. He reminds of me Mark Sanchez without the intangibles, charisma, or character.
