But this app can turn their Itouch into a cell phone for just a small fee every month. Its good for me as both my wife and I have corporate phones, and as such would pay full boat for the kids to have cell service. It will be interesting to see what becomes of this. My kids rarely speak on the phone...it's all texting - so that part of it wouldn't work for me. But, it appears it's in the works - from the linked article "You can't get or send text messages on your Line2 line. (The company says it will fix all this soon.)" Then I'd be more interested. Daughter informed me yesterday that the model she and boy own do not have microphones, but the upgraded ones do..I think the upgraded ones have more memory.
