The Big Cat Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Here's where the rumor originated. At least from what I can tell: LINK EDIT: heres' the original link.
silvermike Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 He'd be an OLB in our scheme now, right? Probably better than Maybin/Kelsay.
Coach Tuesday Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 $5 mil per year for a 4-3 defensive end? I don't think it'll happen.
tony320 Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Tebow to GB would be awesome. MM could work his magic and within two or three years, be ready. Go Pack Go!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 In answer to the original question, No.
DUTE Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Tebow to GB would be awesome. MM could work his magic and within two or three years, be ready. Go Pack Go! K first why are you on this board if your a packer fan? And if tebow did go to the pack what the f*ck would they do with him? He not playin qb in GB unless rodge gets hurt. Any other position than qb and tebow is nothing. Everyone seems to think that he can be a good te, but the truth is there are a lot of players in the league that are better athletes than tebow and it is only him playin qb that makes him look like he is some extraordinary athlete compared to the other slow qbs. If tebow doesnt cut it as a qb in the nfl, he wont be anythin else. He definitely would be a pointless pick for the pack, just like brohm was a few yrs back
FluffHead Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Alex Brown is a classic 4-3 DE with no spot in a 3-4 defense. The guy is a fast pass rusher who can't play the run or drop into coverage. There is a big difference between a 34 DE, a 4-3 DE and a 34 OLB. In my opinion Alex Brown is strictly a 4-3 DE only.
