Billsfan=pain Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 Or trade him to Oakland for Micheal Bush & draft Spiller for a return guy to give Jackson a break from return duties and break Spiller in to NFL .Then have a back field with three backs like the Giants did two years ago . Plus if Jackson shows any sign of slowing (cause some people think his age may be a factor), we would still have two young good backs for the future so there shouldn't be any transition time in the future if Jackson was to slow . What About it ?? Did you think Marshawn's effort this year looked like he wanted to be somewhere else?
tony320 Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Granted, some of it was stored between his ears, but still….it was not like he spent his suspension in the gym getting in shape.
Doc Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 His season last year was definitely sub-standard, for whatever reason(s). But as Nix said, he has a clean slate. All we can do is hope he stays out of trouble and works to improve. Because at this point, it looks like the running game will have to carry the offense.

No doubt, the passing game will be atrcious this year.
Billsfan=pain Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 I feel vindicated with todays new that Marshawn didn't show up for workouts! I will take all of your apologies now!
Doc Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I feel vindicated with todays new that Marshawn didn't show up for workouts! I will take all of your apologies now! Why? Is this the smoking gun that he wants out?
Lori Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 From yesterday's media advisory: "REMINDER - The offseason conditioning program is VOLUNTARY for all Bills players."
robertpaul49 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 It would be a disaster to draft a running back in the first round, an absolute disaster!!!!! The Bills will need a three year plan to account for the amount of time it will take to develop young players. Year 1: Draft offensive linemen. They take a long time to develop, and having a good line will help with other positions. They probably should draft a run stuffing defensive lineman, the priority of these between o-line and d-line will determine whether it will be an offensive or defensive team. Year 2: Draft the quarterback. Hopefully, it will be a good year for quarterbacks, and only draft a quarterback high in the first round, trade up if the team has to. Second and third rounds, draft linebackers and wide receivers. These players will also take time to develop. The team will have to draft at least three wide receivers because the team needs multiple receivers, it will create competition, and it will reduce the chance any single one will be a bust. Year 3: Draft another quarterback if there is any question about the first quarterback, rinse and repeat. They can always trade away the loser of the quarterback competition. Otherwise, draft a running back. The team should draft linebackers, tight ends, defensive line or wide receiver for the next picks depending on who is available. This is based on the fact that the Bills do not need to upgrade their secondary and depth players are chosen in the lower rounds.
Doc Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Speaking of workouts, Lynch played last season about 15-20# heavier than his previous 2 seasons. Was he told to do that or was that of his own doing?
robertpaul49 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 The Bills won't be able to trade him. I guess he will ride the bench.
Billsfan=pain Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 The Bills won't be able to trade him. I guess he will ride the bench. They should trade him and the rest of the team for Manning! (either one)
Billsfan=pain Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 I have vindication from Tim Graham! Where are all the cynics now? http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...-stock-watch-20
McClane Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I wonder if Marshawn Lynch and the 41st overall pick to San Diego for the 28th overall pick would work..
Billsfan=pain Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 Where are all the cynics now? Where are all the people who said i was crazy for assuming Marshawn wants out of Buffalo?
CFLstyle Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I don't think anyone thought you were crazy for thinking Lynch wants out of Buffalo. People thought you were crazy for basing that fact just on what Buddy Nix said.

Astrobot Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 The Bills won't be able to trade him. I guess he will ride the bench. We could have him help OJ look for the real killer...
Billsfan=pain Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 Why? Is this the smoking gun that he wants out? No Doc this is! http://www.buffalonews.com/2010/04/04/1008...sent-lynch.html and this also http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ynch-wants-out/ You need anything else?
Frit0 Bandit0 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I feel certain they are looking to dump Lynch. More to the point, I believe Nix has already stated what type of running back he favors, and will probably pursue.

They want to trade him, but finding a replacement that has his talent is hard to find.
