lets_go_bills Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Other than the Lions, Chiefs, Jaguars, and Browns, who else can we beat? It's gonna be a long year.
JohnC Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Q: So how would you deliberately tank it, without appearing to deliberately tank it? The Bills don't need to deliberately tank the season. They will do it naturally. Playing up to their maximum ability should give us five to six wins.
Las Vegas Calling... Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I voted 5-11. Too many holes to fill in just one season.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Q: So how would you deliberately tank it, without appearing to deliberately tank it? Make Edwards your starter
Orton's Arm Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Went with 6. This team is always good enough to win enough games to put them out of a top 5 pick in the draft and not good enough to make the playoffs. Captain Obvious, OUT I went with seven wins using much the same logic. I figured that maybe one week we'd encounter a team riddled with injuries, and perhaps a few weeks later a team that wasn't playing nearly as well as it had been projected to at the start of the season. Then there's probably going to be a game where the Bills get a little lucky and have a few breaks go their way. Stuff like that. Plus the Bills will probably add a few more stopgap players either through free agency or the draft; allowing themselves to throw a reasonably credible team together. Like you said, enough to keep us well out of the top 5 of the draft, but not enough to sniff the playoffs.

metzelaars_lives Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Whole schedule is brutal. NFC is bad luck of the draw, but for sucking so bad how did we get Ravens, Bengals and Steelers? Jags are no push over and Browns own us. Hardest schedule I've seen in years. Mercifully we have Chiefs to hedge against winless season. Really?
The Avenger Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 More than likely those are the results because it is a Bills forum. I bet if you go to the Lions board, they think they will win 12 games too. Some call it optimism, I call it delusional.....
wide_right Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Really? I thought scheduling would have the worst teams play their peers ... for parity's sake. Those teams are clearly superior to us.
thewildrabbit Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Way to early to predict anything, gotta wait for the draft If the team pulls a jauron and drafts a defensive player with that first pick they will be contending for the #1 overall next season.
CountDorkula Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I plead the 5th untill after we trade for McNabb, and after the draft. Then i will re-visit this thread with full intentions of answering 16-0.
stuckincincy Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Rough schedule...the switch to a 3-4.. . 4? 5? They might get lucky and remain relatively healthy, and catch some clubs with critical injuries.
tennesseeboy Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I think I'll wait until after the draft. We have a "fluid" qb situation, haven't addressed the o-line, and are apparently making a radical change on defense going to a 3-4. Whole new coaching staff, lost some players to free agency. I'm not optimistic but I'll withhold predictions until we finish the draft.
