Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Just saw this on ESPN . Working on our special teams now I guess.

loyalbillsfan Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I'm surprised John Wendling was cut. I think he's one of the best special teamers out there. A borderline talent at safety, but a heck a teams player
billsfreak Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I'm surprised John Wendling was cut. I think he's one of the best special teamers out there. A borderline talent at safety, but a heck a teams player I agree, a few so called experts listed Wendling as the best Special Team in the division.

F UNC Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I'm surprised John Wendling was cut. I think he's one of the best special teamers out there. A borderline talent at safety, but a heck a teams player Wendling failed his physical. He wasn't cut based on performance.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 He's so little. I can't imagine them keeping him at LB in the 3-4.
Beebe's Kid Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Wendling failed his physical. He wasn't cut based on performance. Hmmm... Here I thought it was because he was a wild !@#$ing animal, and they couldn't justify keeping his handlers on the payroll, since he was only ever going to be a ST guy.
sharper802 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Training camp fodder! I suspect the bills will draft 2 LB's who have legit NFL size and probably sign one undrafted FA LB to smash people in camp.
Spiderweb Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Just saw this on ESPN . Working on our special teams now I guess. Whew....hated to see him get away .....
BillsWatch Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Wendling failed his physical. He wasn't cut based on performance. Yes and according to article he is having the controversial microfracture surgery and 'is optimistic of being back in the NFL next fall'. Many times this microfracture surgery is not successful and I think with new special teams coach they do not want to take the chance. It is likely he got a injury settlement and if he had surgery week 7 he would have a better chance IMO in being ready to play in NFL and making a roster. He does appear to have a good attitude about this. http://www.laramieboomerang.com/articles/2...bd113310436.txt
DaGimp Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 thank god! what would the team do without its own hair stylist?
