IDBillzFan Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I heard they decided it was intimidating to the Jonnie Walker Red club and that it wasn't fair that Blue had been aged for so much longer so they disbanded the club. And of course all of it was just a ruse to keep the Johnny Walker Black Club from ever being successful.
KD in CA Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Of course, because Red's, and consequently Red's drinker's, self esteem might be hurt. And, making distinctions based on color, simply isn't inclusive. Oh, so you admit to scotch profiling? Racist.
GG Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I like the Tequila party. It's cheaper and a lot more gets done
Chef Jim Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I like the Tequila party. It's cheaper and a lot more gets done I'm a Bordeaux party guy myself. A lot more expensive and nothing gets done.
Jim in Anchorage Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Excellent. A modern day Whiskey Rebellion. I am printing up bumper stickers as we speak.
DC Tom Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Excellent. A modern day Whiskey Rebellion. I am printing up bumper stickers as we speak. Except for the one frog-lover drinking a socialist Bordeaux. BURN THE HERETIC!
Jim in Anchorage Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Except for the one frog-lover drinking a socialist Bordeaux. BURN THE HERETIC! Some how a "wine rebellion" doesn't have the same effect as a "whiskey rebellion". Rather than taking up arms, would they not send the bottle back, act snotty and tip poorly?
Chef Jim Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Except for the one frog-lover drinking a socialist Bordeaux. BURN THE HERETIC! I love New England Clam Chowder. That does NOT mean I like people from Boston.
