Lori Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 One bad season and he is done. They said the same about Warner. Warner didn't have his throwing elbow rebuilt.
Doc Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 The more amazing part is they gave him $7M! Holy cow the Brown are wasting their money left and right.
BeastMode54 Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 So, how many signable free agents are left? I'll go out on a limb and say that's how many more threads like this we'll have to endure.... don't read them anymore, then you won't have to "endure" them
first_and_ten Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 another one bites the dust... The Bills are in rebuild mode, what would an aging QB on the downside of his career do for them?
spartacus Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I am convinced he is 100% washed up. The guy flat sucks ass. He is done in this league. which would still make him the best QB on the Bills roster Lee Evans would actually see the football
Doc Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 which would still make him the best QB on the Bills roster True...about 2 years ago. Lee Evans would actually see the football Why? Is he a DB for a division rival?
benderbender Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Delhomme is a Drew Bledsoe in the decline of his career and will probably end his career the same way
RLflutie7 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 One bad season and he is done. They said the same about Warner. I couldn't agree more. He had one bad year and everyone hates him. Just one bad year! And his teammates are speaking the truth. He had one bad half-year, according to Deangelo Williams. Actually, Delhomme is two years post surgery. He returned to lead the team to a 12-4 record after he hurt his elbow in Atlanta. And when he hurt his elbow, he had 9 TD passes in the first three games that year. I think the biggest problem is Delhomme lost his self confidence and he lost his accuracy and in Cleveland he'll probably regain his form for a couple of years and give Cleveland a chance to compete for the playoffs. They'll probably draft a QB and let Delhomme run the team until the new guy is ready.
todd Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 another one bites the dust... And he got STUPID money for it. 7 mil this year? Totally not worth it, so I'm glad the Bills didn't sign him. Delhomme would have been a good stopgap, but not for that money.
KD in CA Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 WHY WOULD PEOPLE SUGGEST WE GO AFTER QUARTERBACKS THAT LOOK MUCH WORSE THAN WHAT WE HAVE???? Because 'Hope and Change' is a proven strategy for success.
JustMaxx Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 i believe someone said earlier last yr was the first year delhomme threw more int's than td's Has trent/fitz ever had more td's than int's? if they did, it was BARELY, neither have had a good yr as a QB HELLO, delhomme is a much better quarterback than anybody on the roster. Playoff appearances, playoff wins, good seasons under his belt, and still young enough to do the job. I mean, mike holmgren knows a qb i think Not going after him makes me think our coaches QB of choice is in the draft
