ExiledInIllinois
That's not what he asked. He asked if you'd be okay with the state voiding labor contracts to cancel the bonuses. In other words, would you be okay with cancelling benefits that are contractually guaranteed? I know you are asking pBills... But what is wrong with that (blue)? It happens all the time... ESPECIALLY with regard to labor.
Nanker
Meanwhile, if ObamaCare passes, the U.S. will become hypoxic from the vacuum created by all the doctors who retire early/leave practice altogether, as well as all of the students who dis-enroll from med school. My primary care physician just sent out a notice that he's changing his practice and joining MDVIP. I've got a choice to stay with him for an extra $1,650 a year or take my chances and go into the cesspool of other local providers. More of this will happen across the country and in short order too. I wonder if President BO and the Kongress will outlaw boutique medical practices to force them to practice medicine on the government's terms rather than on their own. Personally, I haven't seen any contracts with bonuses added into the contract. I've seen gradual pay increases over 3 or 5 year term. example: 4%, 3%, 4%.
