USA Today reported last week that the Bills were "researching" Charlie Whitehurst, currently the third string QB on the Chargers. I believed he is a restricted FA who has been tendered at his draft status, meaning if SD didn't match, we would have to give up a third rounder for him. Given the fact he would cost a draft pick and probably a long term deal, they would have to be very sure about this guy to do this. Thoughts? Sorry no linky. Saw this in "Buffalo Rumblings" few days ago.
