KD in CA Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Ah yes, achieving racial 'equality' through the practice of racial divide and favoritism. And when that doesn't work, outright racism. Another proud triumph for left wing social puppet masters.

John Adams Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 What a joke of a story. Every person quoted in the story who matters, ie, the black fraternties and sororities, the schools, and the other contestents, have no problem. But the "uproar" that offends you and that the story quotes to support its premise is from anonymous online posters! HAHAHAHAHA. Yeah, that's news. People are dicks on bulletin boards.
Dante Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 This "culture" sounds and looks like as lame as it gets. Who cares. Keep it

Coca Cola is an anonymous online poster? They changed the official result of the contest after the fact. Obviously they were responding to influences far beyond message board posters. I'm sure no one really cares who wins a silly dance contest, but there is an obvious double standard and that hypocrisy does not help race relations.

You are well skilled in the 3 "R's"...reject, ridicule, repeat. Always attempt to belittle anything in opposition. This happened. Do you see nothing unctuous about Coke's obsequiousness ? Nothing of a double standard? No initial squak by blacks that made them go hide into corporate-ese? No - you don't.

IDBillzFan Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I can't belief how upset people are over this. They'd feel much better if those crackers went to see Chef for advice.

I don't see this as quite the watersherd issue in race relations as you and Wisconsin. I didn't catch what Coke did. They are corporate pussies who will always cave to even the scent of a racist accusation.
IDBillzFan Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I don't see this as quite the watersherd issue in race relations as LA and Wisconsin. Hey, I don't give a crap about this schit.
John Adams Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Hey, I don't give a crap about this schit. It was KD who seems to care. My bad.

They are corporate pussies who will always cave to even the scent of a racist accusation. Who said anything about it being 'the watershed issue'? Typical tactic for the real racist (or anyone else with a bankrupt argument)....dismiss the point by grossly overstating the other party's point to make it look disproportionate to the event. It's an example of racial hypocrisy and proof that a double standard exists, nothing more, nothing less. You are the one who gets all excited anytime someone mentions race. Of course, that's because you think a double standard is appropriate.

Coke wasn't the source of the stupid quotes--internet commenters on a story were. It's the worst kind of race-baiting there is. The point, missed by you and Wisconsin, is that no one "real" made any stink about this. And yes, I attack Wisconsin as a racist because he is one. Where do you think he gets all his topics from? CNN?

CNN? And the important point, missed by you, is that we continue to have a double standard in this country on race and this story is one more small example. I simply commented on that hypocrisy and for some reason you took it personally. And in your rush to call everyone a racist and compare them to Wisconsin I guess it didn't dawn on you that he didn't even start this thread.

And in your rush to call everyone a racist and compare them to Wisconsin I guess it didn't dawn on you that he didn't even start this thread. To date, I've called Wisconsin and Meazza racists. Maybe keepthefaith. Not you. Not cincy. And Wisc chimed in on this thread and he's racist number 1, leading a white power charge over here at PPP at the moment. Like I said before, the second dumbest thing about this story is Coke, which like every big corporation, gets freaked out at even the whiff of racism. The story--read it again--plays off hype generated by Internet commenters. It's an absurd article. Like if CNN covered a debate at PPP. "In news today, John Adams is a smug !@#$, Magox quotes Bloomberg.com, and conner licked a window." Since when are Internet commenters news?
John Adams Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 He's a typical closet racist who wants to brand everyone else as racist before they do the same to him. Call me a racist. Unlike you, I could care less if you do. Because unlike you, I'm not.
