Do you realy think coaches have that much to say about it? Exspecially in Dallas. I am just surprised there was nobody named Jones drafted. Chicago_Mike
That was over 10 years ago. I think Gailey is more experienced now and wiser. Plus, I agree w/ Manbeast that Jones was still probably pulling the trigger on many of those picks.
Tortured Soul
His first two picks were Pro Bowlers. I'll take that.
rpcolosi
His first two picks were Pro Bowlers. I'll take that. um ya. WE are all going nutz about not getting anyone in FA, but has NO one listened to them? they said - add PIECES, not stars. You draft stars. Look at the Steelers with Whaley there and look the charger with nix - I can't come up with any big name FA personnel, other than maybe Justin Hartwig and the Chris Chambers trade for SD. So everyone needs to chill the F out and relax. In addition - the new lease with the Ralph hopefully will involve Mr. Wilso alive and well... thats the best hope for our team to stay. San Jose Bills Fan
Jerry Jones has been the GM of the Cowboys since 1989. http://www.dallascowboys.com/team_executive_jerry_jones.cfm Gailey probably had very little if any input into the Cowboys drafts. It seems the OP knows this so the odd thing is that he/she found it relevant enough to actually post.

Wow you really blew this lame attempt to attack Gailey. First off he drafted a couple probowlers there, second he some of the other guys were really solid players, third....EVERYONE knows Jerruh Jones does ALL the drafting and makes ALL the personnel decisions in Dallas. Fail. Try again.

A lot of homer fans on this board figured DJ would get better after the awful finish to the 2008 season. He didn't. Expecting a guy with years of NFL coaching to magically get better is mindless.
