If this is the case, and they could have him for a 2nd, I say go for it. If Bradford and Clausen are gone at #9, trade down for an extra 2nd and take Tebow. I agree, Gaither is a terrific player, and would be a sensational pickup, but the Ravens don't want to lose him ... just the opposite. The Ravens have what every team wants, two terrific tackles. They don't want to break that up. The widespread perception that they want Oher to slip over to LT doesn't make sense, first because while Oher was not horrible playing LT this season, he wasn't good either, but as an RT he's absolutely sensational, and second because if they did move Oher over they would just go back to having another huge hole to fill on their roster. They didn't have a source or anything concrete. It was only after rotoworld copycatted the story and changed the wording to make ti seem as if the Ravens were definitely making him available that this all looked so good. Why do you think this? The Ravens will not be able to afford TWO $60 million+ contracts for their OT's. Not when they will have to pay Flacco, Rice, Boldin and everybody else they have on that team. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/359445-...nts-should-make The Ravens have several trade chips they can cash in as they have some flexibility at left tackle in Jared Gaither, due to the emergence of Michael Oher, and with an unhappy quarterback in Troy Smith, who wants to be a starter elsewhere. A number of teams need a left tackle so Baltimore should be actively looking to see what they could gain in return for him. (I also would not mind taking a look at Stephon Heyer of the Redskins.
