i se he was released earlier today. he had 7 sacks last year and would prob be cheap. would help with our switch to 3-4. i know i for one would like to take a look at him

No. Thanks. Don't we have a guy named Ellis on our team. All I remember is that when he was drafted he had an "explosive" first step. He's so explosive I don't even know if this 3rd round pick has even taken a snap in his two seasons.

 

There is no way we can have two guys with the last name Ellis on our team.

They're might even be room for Keith Ellison in one of the sleeves!

I think people would B word if NE signed him...saying there's a perfectly good verteran DE who has played in a 3-4 before and we did nothing to go after him. He may not be great, but decent is a start.

Maybe so but he hasn't been quite the same since his last major injury. He rarely feels he has

fair contract.
