manbeast
If we could get him cheap would you give him a shot. He may be a victim of the Oak offense and injuries.
BillsGuyInMalta
He's not a victim of the Oakland offense, he's just a bad football player these days. I wouldnt be surprised however to see the OTHER guy Oakland released today, Greg Ellis, come in for a visit fairly soon. He's got experience in the 3-4, he'll come cheap and (this amazes me) he actually was drafted by Chan Gailey in the first round waaaaaaay back in 1998. Doesn't that just sound exactly like the type of player we'll go after?
Lori
Javon Walker? He was done BEFORE he went to Oakland. He's had more major knee surgeries (two) than TDs (one) in the last three seasons.

Have you been paying attention to Javon Walker in the past few years?? He's done. In fact, he was done BEFORE the Raiders signed him 2 years ago. turftoe
I'm a little gun shy about signing any guy named Walker from Oakland.
Rob's House
Yeah idi0t, signing Javon Walker to a short term low $ contract? That's way too big a risk. Sure there's an off chance that maybe the knee has healed, but what if it hasn't? [sarcasm intended]

R. Rich
Sure, but only if we can't get Wesley Walker.
DarthICE
the 3-4 is the reason Ellis didn't fit in Dallas. You mean this Greg Ellis with all the sacks? http://www.nfl.com/players/gregellis/profile?id=ELL500479 At 265 the guy could play OLB and rush the passer.
