Wizard Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Hypothetical: Let's say you had the first 27 picks in the draft and can rebuild this team. Keep only 26 current players from last year's team. No trades because there isn't a real veteran that would love to come to the Bills. Rookies aren't interested either, but they don't have much of a choice. Bolded are my 27 draft picks. Some of these players aren't considered first rounders, but the majority of them are. If the Bills had a team like this (or very similiar), how long before the Bills could be competing for a spot in th AFC Championship? Thoughts? QB's Bradford Clausen Brohm (cut Edwards, Fitzpatrick) RB's Spiller Jackson Gerhart (Cut Lynch) OL LT Okung LG Iupati C Wood RG Levitre RT Bulaga Depth: Campbell (OT), Veldheer (OT), Hangartner (G/C), Asamoah (G) (Cut all of the worthless people, including Bell) WR's Evans Bryant Tate Benn Johnson Hardy TE's Gresham Pitta Nelson Special Teams K Lindell P Moorman LS (from offensive line) DL 4-3 DE Morgan DT Suh DT McCoy DE Pierre-Paul 3-4 NT Cody DE Morgan DE Pierre-Paul DE Paul Bench: Schobel, Maybin, Williams, Stroud Linebackers: OLB: Kindle ILB: McClain ILB: Spikes OLB: Weatherspoon Bench: Poz, Mitchell CB's Haden Mcgee Bench: McKelvin, Florence, Lankster, Robinson Safeties Byrd Berry Bench: Scott, Wilson, Mays Total Players: 53 Rookies: 27 Veterans: 26 Veterans who are worth keeping around
Pete Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 The Bills need the first 27 picks. Hell we need the first 45
