Ever Since '86 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 PatrickMoranBSD The Bills have signed Cornell Green to a three-year deal, per NFL Network I'll take it
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Excellent, hopefully we can sign Wade Smith soon too. The more O-Lineman, the better...they can only give us better depth. I'd still like to see us bring in another OT too.
Ever Since '86 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I'm willing to bet he came cheap too.. spread out over 3 years
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 My brother just told me he saw on NFL network that Jason La Canfora says Cornell Green signed for 3yrs/$9M.
dgrid Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Excellent, hopefully we can sign Wade Smith soon too.
tennesseeboy Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Green, 34, has been entrenched at right tackle for the Silver & Black the last three campaigns, tallying 38-starts. His unstable play and tendency to rack up penalties has been one of the major issues along the trenches for the Raiders. The Bills have a need along the offensive line and Green is one option that won’t be pricey and that has starting experience. Gee don't we already have a poor offensive right tackle who gets a lot of penalties? Hmm..domestic violence charge, assault charge at an airport.... The RAIDERS are happy to get rid of him? Nice job Buddy...
Pygskin36 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Is he any good? Isn't he pretty old? Purely a backup/ depth guy
DanInUticaTampa Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 The early/current reports are saying the deal is for 3 years and worth 9 mill.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 so is this guy better than the last OT the Bills signed off of Al Davis' 3-ring circus squad?

BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 ouch. Better than the OT depth we have now (which is nothing)
lightning21 Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 ouch. this sucks im sure we could have resigned incognito for the same amount.this is a hurt 34 year old from the raiders with a history of problems.
metzelaars_lives Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 so is this guy better than the last OT the Bills signed off of Al Davis' 3-ring circus squad? I can't imagine. Langston Walker was actually a pretty good RT for us. Just went on a Raiders message board and they're all laughing at us. Went on a Chiefs message board the other day and they were all praising Wade Smith, saying the Chiefs should re-sign him and he was their best OL last year. If the Bills couldn't buck up for Wade Smith and had to settle for a guy who may have cost a few bucks less, I gotta believe that's not a good sign.
jupiterreef Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Is he any good? Isn't he pretty old? The NFL went by this OT about 5 yrs ago. Howard Ballard would be a better singing.
DarthICE Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 This guy is nothing more than depth. 3 mill per year is NOTHING these days.

IM praying he is only signed to add depth,,not the starter
