BeastMode54 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I can't tell if this is good or bad? Does he look more chizzled and ready to play OLB, or does he look more like WR or safety. Either way, he looks bigger than at the end of last year I guess. http://tweetphoto.com/13715210
kota Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 He looks about 235-240 if you ask me. He wont' get any bigger.
Deep2Moulds46 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 The dude is clearly putting the work in, in the gym anyway. However, trying to analyze his progress based on one photo seems a little unrealistic to me.
BeastMode54 Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 He looks about 235-240 if you ask me. He wont' get any bigger. If he can get to between 245-250, that's not a bad playing weight at all for OLB no?
John from Riverside Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Keep in mind outside linebacker now folks....not DE
LynchMob23 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Depends. If you want him at the real, functional weight that can help the team, he looks fine for week 3 or 4 of a workout. If you want him bloated and pro-wrestler like, his frame won't support it and it would be via PEDs. So I like this one personally and he hopefully will top off around 240-250. Which at 6'4 and with his long arms is a good start.
Brand J Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Keep in mind outside linebacker now folks....not DE I still can't believe that was Dicky J's original plan after drafting him. Even in that photo, he looks too skinny to be an every down DE.
John from Riverside Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I am just hoping that part of his off season conditioning includes weakly pass defense work..... OLB's have to do that to on occasion
LABills08 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 The dude has always been ripped. I could care less how big he is. What matters is if he develops the right techniques.

5 Wide Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Am I the only one who thinks posting a shirtless photo of yourself after a workout at Golds makes you a tool? Seems like something those D-bags on the Jersey Shore would do
Magox Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Says he has gained six pounds, targeting for six more.

Seems like something those D-bags on the Jersey Shore would do +1 I've been slamming this tool for a good bit of time now. He's Donte Whitner Jr., all talk, no game. I don;t care what you say on your stupid twitter account or what you look like (A WR in my opinion), you get judged by your play, not the frequency of your tweets and the number of times you engage in self-hype. He's Erik Flowers with a personality.
South Jersey Bills Fan Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Do you like movies about gladiators? "you ever seen a grown man naked Billy?"
kota Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 If he can get to between 245-250, that's not a bad playing weight at all for OLB no? 260-270 if you ask me.
GOBILLS78 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Looks the same as he has in the countless other Twitter photos that have been posted in the past year.
bobobonators Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 i dunno man..Maybin still looks so skinny to me; like another poster said, he's got the frame of a top WR..not top DE/LB. =/
KOKBILLS Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I still can't believe that was Dicky J's original plan after drafting him. Even in that photo, he looks too skinny to be an every down DE. It's still amazing is it not? Maybin should be a perfect fit for a 3-4 OLB though...The Kid is catching a HUGE break with the conversion...Had The Bills stayed 4-3 I'm not sure he would have ever been more than an occasional 3rd Down guy and back-up... Maybin's got a golden opportunity now...We'll see...
