Billsguy Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I knew we should have draft Ngata instead of Whitner, not let Pat Williams go........all kinds of things that most everybody on here thought, too........So, I think we're as qualified as what they've been doing for a decade. Ralph has been screwing up for 50 years. The brief moments of limited success can be attributed to chance as much as anything else. He still loves to hire proven mediocrity when possible. His biggest mistake was hiring Bill Polian. Now all his other hires are exposed as the true failures they really are. Add up all the people he has hired over the years from Buster Ramsey to Chan Gailey and you can see his record of failures versus success. His decision making overall has been a massive failure to any objective observer. This excludes a large percentage here.
manbeast Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 I love the uprising of the defiant, unconditional (lemming) Bills fans on this board lately. It's like the Bills fan version of the crazy right wing "Tea Party". Next thing you know you dummies are going to bring your guns to the Ralph on Sundays. Move to china commy my ancestors fought for those rights some of their signitures are on the declaration go back to what ever country your ungreatful family came from.

Now that is one hell of a success story.
manbeast Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 You mean like Tom Donohoe? Marv Levy? Go to bed. Marv was a coach not GM material. Find me a GM that has never had a 1st round bust.
Cash Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Yeah, if they let some fan run the show, they'd probably miss the playoffs for like 10 straight years and turn into a laughingstock. Good thing we've got the pros in the front office, so that won't happen.
1billsfan Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 and alot of us now how to draft, scout and trade players too Don't know about Nix, but TSW would have cleaned the clocks of the previous regime in terms of drafting players. From my recollection if there were a vote on 1st round picks in the last four drafts we'd have... 2006 Ngata and Mangold 2007 Lynch 2008 Clady or Albert 2009 Orakpo or Oher Why oh why did Ralph stick with Jauron and Co. for so long? Hiring Marv as GM, and Marv in turn hiring his loser Chicago buddy Dick Jauron has to be the two biggest mistakes in franchise history.

We have guys with better resumes in the FO now all I am saying is give them a chance. We have made huge splashes in FA early over the last 10 years and where has that got us. these guys are taking a different approach and are being critisized for it. Either you want change or you don't. You guys and not all of you but some are asking for the same thing just from different people. I have been getting frustrated as well but I keep reminding myself of the splash we made when we signed Dockery and Walker and TO and just thiink of the guys WASH has snagged over the years. Big moves are not always good ones what do you think was said about the Welker trade that didn't have big splash on it but the rest is history.

Read the post above this one for a complete response I don't want to repeat myself.
