Omar Little Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 http://www.wivb.com/dpp/sports/bills_and_n...en-Visits-Bills The Bills search for offensive lineman has veteran Cornell Brown in town. News 4 Sports has learned that the 12-year vet will meet with the team on Monday. Brown spent the last three seasons playing for the Raiders. He started 38 games, mostly at right tackle.
BeastMode54 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 why didn't we bring TOny Pashos in? Green was on an offensive line maybe worse than ours. We are picking the scraps from sh-tty teams. Chiefs, now the Raiders. I know it's early, but I just can't get excited about this

FluffHead Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 12 year vet who only had 5 starts before he went to Oakland...hopefully depth. Atleast they're doing something.
SawchukBills Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 It's a start and at least it's an offensive tackle.
RayFinkle Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Per Wiki: Green was arrested on a domestic violence charge on March 21, 2009 in Florida. He was accused of hitting the mother of his two children with a mop handle and slamming her against a wall. He was arrested at the Tampa International Airport while trying to board a flight for Oakland, California.
BeastMode54 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Per Wiki: as I said before, at least he has some fire. Maybe he was practicing pass pro?
DanInUticaTampa Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Green was on an offensive line maybe worse than ours. No way there was an offensive line worse than ours. But this visit only looks good for depth purposes, or at most, to compete for starter. But I like the effort of actually trying some things out.
UConn James Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 The headline says Green, the story says Brown. Nice. Reporters seemed smarter back when there were copy editors....
HurlyBurly51 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Per Wiki: Too bad they let Incognito go. That would've been some tandem on the right side.
Lori Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 The headline says Green, the story says Brown. Nice. Reporters seemed smarter back when there were copy editors.... Green, Brown, they're both colors, right? It gets better: the lede says Brown, but later references switch to Green. I won't pick on Peck too much, but it does seem that there are more mistakes/typos on TV stations' Web sites than in print media ...
cale Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I'm all for signing/looking at 2nd tier players. Hell, even 3rd tier dudes. But right now we're dredging pits. If this is how much our "scouting" has improved, it doesn't bode well. C

Chalkie Gerzowski Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Cornell Brown Adam Dartmouth scheduled a visit for Tuesday.

BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Can never have too little offensive lineman for depth purposes. I'm hoping he and Smith sign this week.
timbuk3 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 http://www.wivb.com/dpp/sports/bills_and_n...en-Visits-Bills Don't the Lions or Browns have any 2nd and 3rd string OL's available that the Bills can go after?
