UConn James Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I think "ethnicity" is a better term for what the OP is getting at. Actually, "heritage" (preferred) or "nationality" would be more germane. "Ethnicity" implicates a much further sub-categorization than what's being asked (e.g., rooting interest in the World Cup).
