bills_red Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...c8-95568965e382 wow, really him over Inco.???? Wade Smith, yea I said the same thing........WHO?
DanInUticaTampa Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I like Inco better, but this guy looks like he would be some great depth for us. And with the injuries we get, we need that more than most teams.
Buftex Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I like Inco better, but this guy looks like he would be some great depth for us. And with the injuries we get, we need that more than most teams. The roster is stocked with great depth...all waiting to back somebody up...
davefan66 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 It's the KC thing again. Wow. Usually teams pick coaches and talent from WINNING teams.....
GOBILLS78 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 If you're not big on clicking links, it's Wade Smith.
Mike in Syracuse Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 i dont know why we let incognito go Perhaps because he said he didn't want to be here and said he would sit out if we tendered him. Just guessing.............
NewEra Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 would be a nice signing as long as he's cheap. sign him, then we can concentrate on the lines exterior. would be nice to add 2 tackles that can play now.
earthtobrint Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...c8-95568965e382 wow, really him over Inco.???? Because Chan Gailey knows him (Wade Smith). Here come the Chiefs castoffs to save the day.
birdog1960 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Perhaps because he said he didn't want to be here and said he would sit out if we tendered him. Just guessing.............link?
Brand J Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Another part time starter. Sounds like Geoff Hangartner v 2.0
bills_red Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 anyone have espn insider to give us his scouting report?
bkc Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I like Inco better, but this guy looks like he would be some great depth for us. And with the injuries we get, we need that more than most teams. Todday is the first time I hearing about incognito not wanting to play for the bills . Any one have a link on this
Brand J Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Todday is the first time I hearing about incognito not wanting to play for the bills . Any one have a link on this Incognito said during the season that he would love to be a Buffalo Bill this upcoming year. Something about these teammates having fight in them vs his Rams teammates. I'm not going to dig for that article, but he did say it. Whoever said Incognito didn't want to be a Bill this year, is just trying to rationalize not tendering an offer to Richie...
Lori Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 FWIW, Smith is scheduled to visit Houston tomorrow: http://www.houstontexans.com/news/Story.asp?STORY_ID=6080
bills_red Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 http://www.profootballfocus.com/by_player....p;playerid=1393 -5.5 Overall, he would rank #59 at OG, tie at C at #24 and #42 at OT. Just the time at OG with out adding the time he was at OT he is at #23 at OG.
earthtobrint Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Another part time starter. Sounds like Geoff Hangartner v 2.0 Signing relatively young backups/part-time starters with possible upside for cheap is prudent free agency activity. But Hangartner, unfortunately, proved to be only a minor upgrade over Fowler and Preston. I don't know enough about Wade Smith to have an opinion on the possible signing.
