BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Thought this was interesting to note, considering that Incognito was not tendered. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/03/04/i...o-not-tendered/ But once head coach Chan Gailey indicated at the combine that both Demetrius Bell and Eric Wood were considered “ahead of schedule,” to me it signaled that Incognito was probably going to become a free agent.
Philo Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Good to hear that Wood is progressing nicely. Who else thinks he transitions to C at some point this year? Whether its Day 1 or halfway through the season I think he's gonna replace Hangartner.

Great! because we never have injuries on the O-line... who needs Incog as a backup... just when I started to believe in Buddy!
Steely Dan Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Good to hear that Wood is progressing nicely. Who else thinks he transitions to C at some point this year? Whether its Day 1 or halfway through the season I think he's gonna replace Hangartner. A switch of positions would probably really help Hangartner. I think Wood could handle C duties as long as there is no lingering problems from his injury.

Hopefully, the injury doesn't interfere with this. Hangartner is still valuable as a backup, which we could always use, that is to say if he isn't moved to G. Does he have any experience playing G?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 Keep an eye out for the Bills to bring in Wade Smith. He's got experience with Gailey and can play all 5 spots on the O-Line.
