The Poojer Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 back in december i got contacts...the doctor suggested multi focal as opposed to single vision to avoid the need for reading glasses...2+ months in I am not very happy with the results...my long range vision is horrible and i suspect that the strong eye that has the weaker lens for up close vision is overpowering the stronger lens. from what i can tell by the prescription, everything is equal in the lenses except the strength....can i simply switch to the stronger(right eye) lens for both eyes...the dimensions of the contacts are identical. I will go the reading glasses route if i have to, i just cannot take the blurry vision. I am scheduled to see the eye doctor on saturday when i return to richmond this weekend so i am not going to do anything without seeking the advice of the doctor, but i just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this issue. thanks in advance

Also - tell him if are you are experiencing recent difficulties with capital letters and/or tabulation. Sorry - couldn't resist, Pooj...
cåblelady Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I tried them for about........2 minutes. Told the doc to send them back. He didn't think I would like them. Besides......Ebay has lots of funky reading glasses.
