keepthefaith Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 http://weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-now-...alth-care-votes Sorry if this has already been posted This story is getting some air time here in Chicago. Will be interesting to see how Mr. Utah votes.
KD in CA Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 http://weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-now-...alth-care-votes Sorry if this has already been posted Sure, it was posted a few months ago when this corrupt POS was throwing hundreds of millions at Mary Landrieu for her vote. I see now we're taking it beyond just straight cash. Let me guess, out of 300MM peole in the country, he just happens to be the most qualified guy. Boy, that sure is Change You Can Believe In!
UConn James Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 And yet, when Blagojevich so much as said he was looking for favors for Barry's Senate seat, he goes to pokey. When you do this --- and actually follow through --- in DC, and you can operate in broad daylight with no shame.
VABills Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 He should be using his money from his Peace prize to pay them under the table. I'd have less issue with him paying off for votes if he used his own cash. Maybe Gore can pony up some of his cash he's made bilking folks on global warming products.

Happens on BOTH sides of the aisle. Not just a democrat thing.

Alaska Darin Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Happens on BOTH sides of the aisle. Not just a democrat thing. Which makes the campaign of "Change" that much more laughable.

pBills Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Which makes the campaign of "Change" that much more laughable. I agree. However things still need to keep moving in DC. If they have to grease the wheels to get Reform so be it.
Magox Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I agree. However things still need to keep moving in DC. If they have to grease the wheels to get Reform so be it. Never in history has such a sweeping reform passed with so little support. You know things are bad when Warren Buffett, who was a supporter of Obama is telling you the same thing that the GOP has been telling them, which is to scrap the bill and start all over. Why would he be saying this?
IDBillzFan Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I agree. However things still need to keep moving in DC. If they have to grease the wheels to get Reform so be it. Even though the "things" you're moving are very bad ideas off a steep cliff.
pBills Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Even though the "things" you're moving are very bad ideas off a steep cliff. Well hopefully the GOP will remove stick from butt and put out some legit ideas (or at least a few more) instead of saying start over from scratch. Hell, if they were really smart they would request another live CSPAN event and do it there. That way the peace o' crap Pelosi won't simply dismiss it without knowing a nation is truly watching.

Answer the question, why would Buffett say "start from scratch"? Oh and btw, they have put up many legit ideas. According to the CBO, premiums would decrease by 10%, lower the deficit, cover 3 million more people while not raising taxes by one dime. Ummmm, Ya, I would say this is the better plan.

Okay. Right. The reason this disgusting FUBAR'd bill is a rat's asshair away from being put into law is because the GOP had a stick up their butt. It's because they had no ideas. It's because they should have asked to be on CSPAN more often. Got it. I'm not a big Ann Coulter fan, but she has a line that couldn't be more true: The liberals motto is speak loudly and carry a small victim.

Some would call this a dictatorship. I know I would. I used to think that Obama was just a dumb(which I imagine he is since he won't release his university grades), outdated socialist. Now I'm thinking of him more in terms of treason and dangerous.
DC Tom Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Some would call this a dictatorship. I know I would. I wouldn't. A dictator doesn't have to cut deals.

Obviously you didn't understand... with it being an election year one would think if they have great ideas, a great plan... prove it. Show the nation during some time on CSPAN, prove the democrats are wrong. Why not?

Treason and Dangerous was Bush/Cheney... sorry. Two Wars this nation couldn't afford, let alone shouldn't have been in. But that's another story. And yes, Obama is dumb First Black Elected to Head Harvard's Law Review
