bills_fan Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 If nothing else, he's really big, 6'8", 355 big. He was released by Oak last year and signed with the Patriots*. The Patriots* released him in Oct and he did not sign with anyone. He was good a couple years back, getting a 4 yr, $17 mil contract and he was a guy that I, among others here, wanted us to pursue. I wonder what he's been up to and if he is in playing shape? Could be a worth a look on 1st or 2nd down.
Peter Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 My only question is what was his mother thinking when she named him?
BillsFan74 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 The last few years he has not been able to stick with a team or get on the field...wonder what that's about?
JohnC Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 The last few years he has not been able to stick with a team or get on the field...wonder what that's about? NGE: Not Good Enough. Simple question calls for a simple answer.
manbeast Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 He had 1 decent year but I don't see any harm in bringing him in at the minimum 1 yr.
Chandler#81 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 I don't want a guy with the name TURD! Agreed! That moniker/name fits many players & staff from last year. NO MORE TURDS!!
High Mark Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 We bring is tons a camp fodder guys every year. I see no reason why he shouldnt be one of them.
JPS Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 I'd rather have 303 lbs of "want to" in Kyle Williams than 355 lbs of "used to" in T. Sands.
Pirate Angel Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 We need an upgrade over Kyle Williams. What is the point of bringing in someone just because there size is more suitable to the 3-4 than Kyles when theyre not good enough to start over Kyle anyway.
Billsfan=pain Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 We bring is tons a camp fodder guys every year. I see no reason why he shouldnt be one of them. I agree, but I don't think he has ever played the NT before. I may be wrong.
John from Riverside Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 I really liked him the year he was a UFA and the Raiders resigned him....he was making a lot of plays. I just dont get how players can be one hit wonders.....
SawchukBills Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Sign him to a cheap offer, let him battle it out with whoever we have and release the dead weight...I'm all for it!
