Wilson from Gamehendge Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 2010 Mock Draft(RD1) Anthony Davis / OT / Rutgers (RD2) Jerry Hughes / OLB / TCU (RD3) Jeff Owens / DT / Georgia (RD4) Selvish Capers / OT / West Virginia (RD5) Darryl Sharpton / ILB / Miami (RD6) Jarrett Brown / QB / West Virginia (RD6) Blair White / WR / Michigan State (RD7) Nathan Overbay / TE / Eastern Washington (RD7) Javarris James / RB / Miami your opinions?? I like the Javarris James idea...and I really like Jarrett Brown as a "slash" like the Jets use Brad Smith.
ChevyVanMiller Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I like any mock draft that doesn't include a trade or a UB guy thrown into the later rounds for hometown sake.
Noma Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 2010 Mock Draft(RD1) Anthony Davis / OT / Rutgers (RD2) Jerry Hughes / OLB / TCU (RD3) Jeff Owens / DT / Georgia (RD4) Selvish Capers / OT / West Virginia (RD5) Darryl Sharpton / ILB / Miami (RD6) Jarrett Brown / QB / West Virginia (RD6) Blair White / WR / Michigan State (RD7) Nathan Overbay / TE / Eastern Washington (RD7) Javarris James / RB / Miami your opinions?? anthony davis isnt worth the #9 overall. i dont like buluga, but if hes there, id take him. if were drafting the 4th best OT at #9, there was a run at that position, and you can either land clausen/bradford or the best talent at a def position (berry?/McClain/Williams). so yeah, the #9 pick is poor. i suppose im fine with OLB in round two. hes a good player. Jeff owens is a tiny DT. hes not a NT, he had brutal knee surgery he didnt recover well from, and why do we need another 4-3 DT on our team? i guess capers is a fine choice for the 4th, though i think you can do better. same with sharpton, but i like the idea of getting a solid ILB in the 5th. who cares about rounds 6 and 7 really as theyre not supposed to do anything in the nfl, but i like the choices outside of brown. then again, in 2-3 years, he could develop into a good player. dumb as a doornail, so i dont think hell ever be anything more than a wildcat guy.
Thoner7 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I am not sure I like the Davis pick Unmotivated, and unprepared players scare me too.
Rust Belt Nights Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 2010 Mock Draft(RD1) Anthony Davis / OT / Rutgers (RD2) Jerry Hughes / OLB / TCU (RD3) Jeff Owens / DT / Georgia (RD4) Selvish Capers / OT / West Virginia (RD5) Darryl Sharpton / ILB / Miami (RD6) Jarrett Brown / QB / West Virginia (RD6) Blair White / WR / Michigan State (RD7) Nathan Overbay / TE / Eastern Washington (RD7) Javarris James / RB / Miami your opinions?? I can deal with it But... I want Riley Cooper goddamnit!
mob16151 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Love the 3rd round pick. Jeff Owens is gonna be a good 1. Would rather have Bulaga,or even Brown then davis though in the first.
Throwback Bills Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I like it. Still like my top five below. If anything I think everyone can agree at least on the order of position (OT, NT, etc.). I really don't think there si a top ten QB in draft. Bradford - Worry about inury, Clausen - leadership?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I am terrified of Anthony Davis, everything I've heard about him involves the words "lazy" and "unmotivated". Aside from that, very good draft. I doubt Selvish lasts until the 4th but he would be a steal there if we could get him.
....lybob Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 1. Trent Williams OT, I think Okung and Bulaga will be gone and maybe Campbell to Oak- One of the upsides of Williams is that he can play any position on the line including center in an emergency. 2. Cam Thomas NT, on the one hand this is little bit of a reach, on the other hand there are a small number of legit NTs and you could be on the outside looking in if you wait too long. I'd also like an OLB like Jerry Hughes or a 3-4 DE like Lamarr Houston but not at the risk of not having a real NT. 3. Tony Washington OT This smaller school OT looked as good as the bigger named tackles in all the drills I saw- He might have moved himself into the 2nd round another later round OL guy I liked was John Jerry, played RT projected to guard but he looked quick and smooth enough to me to play RT in the NFL 4. Jason Worilds OLB, one of our OLBs has to be able to play in space I have concerns about Maybin in that area Worilds looked good in in back peddle locate the ball type drills. 5. Clifton Geathers DE, a dreaded developmental type player but at the very least should have some kick blocking ability 6s and 7s- at least 2 maybe 3 of these picks should go to LBs more suitable for the 3-4 defense
