Coach April said this, and it's true.

"There's always psychological barrier to playing special teams, because the players haven't been rewarded for it, and are very unlikely to get rewarded when they play," April said. "There's no reward, there's no incentive a lot of times. They're not going to have the press talking to them after the game about how they covered a kick. A lot of times you don't even know who's on the field for those plays."

So the guys who run the ball back down the field get all the credit, yet we take for granted that other guys on the field have made some huge blocks. Tucker and Neufeld getting pounded in the wedge, players like Prioleau, Stamer and Crowell making tackles on kickoff. They have to be one of the best groups in in the league.

Take Neufeld for example - he had three tackles and an assist on special teams against the Rams last week. Did we hear about that in the media? Nope. But it's newsworthy IMO.

So just remember that when free agency and/or training camp this year and people are putting together their rosters. If we lose some of these guys, they have to be replaced. Give some credit where credit is due.

Happy turkey day!
