All and all pretty easy for me, how bout you? http://pewresearch.org/politicalquiz/quiz/index.php Ya baby, 12 for 12 http://pewresearch.org/politicalquiz/quiz/index.php Here's Your Score: You correctly answered 12 of the 12 possible questions along with approximately 2% of the public. You did better than 98% of the general public. Now if I got 12 for 12, how in the hell did only beat out 98% of the public?

UConn James
12/12. That wasn't very hard for anyone who simply scans headlines and has even a rudimentary ability for guess-timation. People whiffed on these softballs. And, since this was among people who actively went to the site, this indicates they have some interest in politics. Which means, these people probably vote. IDBillzFan
That wasn't very hard for anyone who simply scans headlines and has even a rudimentary ability for guess-timation. Seriously. When I'm hitting 12/12, I have no problem admitting it reflects more on the test than it does on me. The Pantybomber/Yemen stuck with me after hearing someone (John McCain, I think) discussing Pantyboy and suggesting something along the lines of "When we get done with Afghanistan, we're probably going to have to deal with Yemen next." Joe Miner
Large Age Gap in Knowledge As in previous knowledge surveys, older people fare much better on most questions than do young people. The largest gaps come on questions about the Christmas Day terrorist plot and the name of the Senate leader. When asked to name the country that intelligence officials believe trained and equipped the suspected Christmas Day bomber, close to six-in-ten (59%) Americans age 50 and older correctly identify Yemen, compared with just 25% of those younger than age 30. Similarly, there is a 34-point difference between those younger than 30 and older than 50 in knowledge of who leads the U.S. Senate (16% vs. 50%). The most notable exception to this pattern is the ability of young people to identify Colbert. About half (49%) of those younger than 30 correctly identify the comedian and talk show host compared with 38% of those older than 50. Looking at the chart in that section, maybe we should raise the voting age to 30.
