Pete Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I just caught the headline. Asomugha and Revis would be ridiculous!
Peter Griffin Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I just caught the headline. Asomugha and Revis would be ridiculous! I predict this will never happen.
BillsZubaz Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I just caught the headline. Asomugha and Revis would be ridiculous! Yes. This would be a complete nightmare. The 2 best corners in the NFL on the same field. I don't think it happens.
Amstel Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 They would have a lot of money tied up on Corners......
H2o Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 They could throw all their eggs into one basket for the uncapped year in hopes that it nets a SB victory. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens.
Ever Since '86 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 It could happen with an uncapped year facing us.
KD in CA Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I think it would be a brilliant move. You are basically shutting off virtually every passing game in the NFL (other than maybe the Colts and Saints) and leaving the rest of a strong front 7 to attack up front. It's putting a lot of pressure on Sanchez and the offense to improve without much extra help, but with that defense, it just might work. At any rate, that would be a fun defense to watch.

Ya it would be SO MUCH FUN to watch our PATHETIC bills offense play against that defense 2 times a year
Thoner7 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 They would have a lot of money tied up on Corners...... With no CBA, I think Revis can be tendered a contract worth 4 million over the next 2 or 3 seasons. Its some very very small amount I do remember that.
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 With no CBA, I think Revis can be tendered a contract worth 4 million over the next 2 or 3 seasons. Its some very very small amount I do remember that. Please Explain?
Poz_is_God Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 the raiders just signed ashumga to a 7 year deal last year. al davis isnt that retarded
uticaclub Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 what do u think that would take, 1st (2010, 2011), 3rd this year, leon washington, kerry rhodes & lito sheppard. just a guess.
Adam Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Please Explain? He will still be a restricted free agent, due to no CBA meaning it takes an extra year to become unrestricted. All they have to do is give him a decent offer and it would cost a first round pick to sign him away from the Jets
aristocrat Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 the raiders just signed ashumga to a 7 year deal last year. al davis isnt that retarded it was a 3 year deal for 45 mil...the 3rd year is an option.

The rules for no new CBA apply only to this season, without a CBA in future seasons there will be no football. He has completed 3 seasons, next year will be his 4th, he will be unrestricted at that point.
