FluffHead Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 Houston, we have a running back. Â I'm aware we are probably set at RB. Just sayin', this is pretty relevant NFL news.
RLflutie7 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I'm aware we are probably set at RB. Just sayin', this is pretty relevant NFL news. Â Â This is shocking news to me. This guy is a great back and he still has a lot left. Six or 7 teams will bid for his services.
RayFinkle Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 This is shocking news to me. This guy is a great back and he still has a lot left. Six or 7 teams will bid for his services. He is an undersized, concussion prone RB on the wrong side of 30.
Coach Tuesday Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I'm aware we are probably set at RB. Just sayin', this is pretty relevant NFL news. Â No, I meant the Houston Texans.
KD in CA Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 This is shocking news to me. This guy is a great back and he still has a lot left. Six or 7 teams will bid for his services. Â Negative. Â Once again, running backs hit the wall VERY quickly in the NFL. Westbrook has had a great career, but 1700+ touches takes their toll. Now that he's had concussion problems, he will be a shell of his former self.
JStranger76 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 What DaGimp said. Hell, bring in Larry Johnson to backup Jackson for a year. We'll get a top RB later, let's get tougher in the trenches for now and find a QB first.
CardinalScotts Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 do not let lynch go and sign westbrook
BuffaloWings Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 do not let lynch go and sign westbrook Not jonesing for Westbrook, but I'd call San Diego and see what they'd give us for Lynch.
CountDorkula Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 'Git 'er done Buddy. Â I cant believe it took that long for this to show up!
nucci Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 This is shocking news to me. This guy is a great back and he still has a lot left. Six or 7 teams will bid for his services. Disagree. He does not have a lot left. He suffered 2 serious concussions last year and has had leg and foot injuries the last couple of years. Plus , it's not shocking to the fans here in Philly.
stinky finger Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 This is shocking news to me. This guy is a great back and he still has a lot left. Six or 7 teams will bid for his services. Philly disposes of them before they completely rot.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Isn't BW about 90% of the Eagles offense? They must really like LeShean McCoy.
manbeast Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Not jonesing for Westbrook, but I'd call San Diego and see what they'd give us for Lynch. This is good news for us if we really are considering a trade of Lynch. The only back that had a decent yrd per carry last year was Westbrook. Lynch is younger than any of the FA that have names this season. Although he has had some off the field issues in the past his value is rising. I really have not heard alot of praise for this years draft class.
John from Riverside Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Sooooooo....nobody is going to point out the fact that the Eagles now need a RB and McNabb "might" be had in a trade?
