Chef Jim Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Because no one knows how to report the news anymore.

I don't know man, it's real easy to go to jail over drinking and drugs. commit an actual crime? probation.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 underage drinking maybe? I don't know man, it's real easy to go to jail over drinking and drugs. commit an actual crime? probation. neither of which is mentioned in this article. my point is, he was charged with trespassing and mischief. but its my belief that he was willingly let into the party by the girls, and possibly encouraged to dance... that is, until the parents got home and needed someone to blame. and instead of punishing their "perfect little princesses" and making the girls pay for the new floor, they are going after this dude.

My point was that due to bad reporting we probably know less than 10% of what really happened.
RayFinkle Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 If your 18 year old daughter is hanging out with some dude who wears a diamond belt buckle and can't handle his liquor, chances are your problems are going to be bigger than some scuff marks on your laminate.

My guess is that he was underage and drinking - this may have been the only thing they could stick him with after the fact. However, to your point sounds like B.S. - IMO should be a civil matter that is resolved between parents.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 My point was that due to bad reporting we probably know less than 10% of what really happened. i hear ya, im just saying that given the charges, it seems pretty bogus. Chef Jim Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 i hear ya, im just saying that given the charges, it seems pretty bogus. Why, were does it say in that article that he was ever invited to that party. If the cops came that means someone called them and if they were called it's likely that the punk was causing problems. But then again I know less than 10% of what really happened.

IF this kid wasnt invited to the party and wasnt wanted at the party, I have to assume that some other dudes would have stepped in to remove him. I remember being a teenager, and I remember going to parties. If these girls, at any time, wanted him gone, there should have been a group of guys there that would have kicked him out. If for no other reason, to impress the chicks. A fight would have ensued. Typical awesome party happenings. Also, according to the article, the cops were called AFTER the parents returned home. Not at the time. Not the next day. AFTER the parents got home and brought the hammer down.
WellDressed Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Back in the dizzle breakdancing was done on cardboard.

"The parents returned home from vacation to find the damage, leading sheriff's deputies to investigate the crime." If this guy was such a problem, why didn't she call the police during the party. Sounds like the little B word is looking to pass blame and mommy or daddy has some friends on the the force.
Chef Jim Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 From the comments on page: New York State Penal Law CW-388 subsection 3 allows a charge of a class A-II felony for unlicensed, in home break dancing. Wearing a DIAMOND belt buckle during commission of this violation may result in a fine of $3,000 and an upgrade to a class A felony. There you have it.

There you have it. It's always nice to find out your crime has an opportunity for an upgrade. Next time I kill someone in my dreams, I'll have to think about the premeditation a little harder.

Next time I kill someone in my dreams, I'll have to think about the premeditation a little harder. 2009 was a busy year for me. I've got enough points to upgrade my next DUI to vehicular manslaughter.

This story has Hollywood (Kelly the F&BD get the rights), or atleast SNL, written all over it. Guy enters party. Hits on girls. The sparkel of his Diamond belt buckle intriges them but, he needs something, something to close the deal. As he falls down drunk on a NICE wooden floor, he thinks while I'm down here, BREAK DANCE Time. After a couple of moves, he does a spin, and screws himself to the floor! He can't get up, so after he unbuckles his pants, he walks towards the girls with his PANTS On The GROUND. How can they resist. He closes the deal.

Add a little background music and you got yourself a cheesy porn script.
