I can't imagine trying to read a book on a Blackberry. Wife LOVES her Kindle though. I'm thankful that it's on her parents' account -- she reads way too many books in a month. After a few pages, I've had enough and can't stand reading anymore. I bought my mother a Kindle for Christmas and she absolutely loves it, I guess it's really easy on the eyes. There's another app called classics that has a bunch of classics built in for reading on the iPhone. Not great but exactly as you say: a time killer when trapped without a book.
