Buftex Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 My thoughts - boy our TE's sucked. QUOTE (Tsaikotic @ Feb 18 2010, 12:08 PM) Id go: QB - Drew Bledsoe (2002 - 2004) LT - John Fina (2000 - 2001) LG - Ruben Brown (2000 - 2003) C - Trey Teague (2002 - 2005) RG - Chris Villarrial (2004 - 2006) RT - Jonas Jennings (2001 - 2004) or Jason Peters (2004 - 2008) FB - Larry Centers (2001 - 2002) / Sam Gash (2003) RB - Willis McGahee (2004 - 2006), Marshawn Lynch (2007 - present), Travis Henry (2001-2004), Fred Jackson (2007 - present) WR - Eric Moulds (2000 - 2005), Lee Evans (2004 - present), Josh Reed (2002 - present), T.O (2009), Peerless Price (2000 - 2002 / 2006 - 2007) TE - Jay Riemersma (2000 - 2002) DE - Aaron Schobel (2001 - present), Kris Kelsay (2003 - present), Ryan Denney (2002 - present), Phil Hansen (2000 - 2001), Marcellus Wiley (2000) DT - Pat Williams (2000 - 2004), Sam Adams ( 2003 - 2005) LB - London Fletcher (2002 - 2006), Takeo Spikes (2003 - 2006), Kawika Mitchell (2008 - present), Paul Posluszny (2007 - present) Angelo Crowell (2005-2007) CB - Antoine Winfield (2000- 2003), Terrence McGee (2003 - present), Nate Clements (2001 - 2006) S - Lawyer Milloy (2003 - 2005), Donte Whitner (2006 - present), Jairus Byrd (2009 - present) P - Brian Moorman (2001 - present) K - Rian Lindell (2003 - present) KR - Terrence McGee (2003 - present) PR - Roscoe Parrish (2005 - present) I think you are being a little unkind to Peerless Price...in his first stint with the Bills, he was pretty solid...not perfect, but, before he left the first time, he has one of the best set of moves, after the catch, that we have seen in Buffalo, modern times, other than Andre Reed. He was pretty good...going to Atlanta ruined his career...Vick was he wrong QB, at the wrong time for Price. When he came back, Price was used up...too many injuries...always kind of liked him though.
Bills!Win! Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 The All Decade Team? QB - Brian Moorman - He has the best quarterback rating on fake field goal td passes RB - Brian Moorman - He has the best avg ypc on fake punts P - Brian Moorman I don't think Brian Moorman has played any other positions, but if he did he would be the best at it...
stuckincincy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I think it would be more fun to put together the anti-decade team. That should easily fill the 53-man roster limit.
Bob in STL Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Id go: QB - Drew Bledsoe (2002 - 2004) Lt - LG - Ruben Brown (2000 - 2003) C - RG - RT - FB - Larry Centers (2001 - 2002) / Sam Gash (2003) RB - Willis McGahee (2004 - 2006), Marshawn Lynch (2007 - present), Fred Jackson (2007 - present) WR - Eric Moulds (2000 - 2005), Lee Evans (2004 - present), Josh Reed (2002 - present), T.O (2009), Peerless Price (2000 - 2002 / 2006 - 2007) TE - Jay Riemersma (2000 - 2002) DE - Aaron Schobel (2001 - present), Kris Kelsay (2003 - present), Ryan Denney (2002 - present), Phil Hansen (2000 - 2001) DT/NT - Pat Williams (2000 - 2004), Sam Adams ( 2003 - 2005) LB - London Fletcher (2002 - 2006), Takeo Spikes (2003 - 2006), Kawika Mitchell (2008 - present), Paul Posluszny (2007 - present) CB - Antoine Winfield (2001 - 2003), Terrence McGee (2003 - present), Nate Clements (2001 - 2006) S - Lawyer Milloy (2003 - 2005), Donte Whitner (2006 - present), Jairus Byrd (2009 - present) P - Brian Moorman (2001 - present) K - Rian Lindell (2003 - present) KR - Terrence McGee (2003 - present) PR - Roscoe Parrish (2005 - present) Sadly I view that list and this is what I think of: 1. Lack of consistency - many of our best players were let go with gas in the tank. 2. Neglected offensive line. 3. No QB for a decade Coaches - two rookies and a retread No wonder this was our worst decade ever.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I think it would be more fun to put together the anti-decade team. Well lets start it then. First induction of the anti-decade team... ...Chris Kelsay, DE.
StamerforPrez Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Well lets start it then. First induction of the anti-decade team... ...Chris Kelsay, DE. Mike Williams
BillyBaroo Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 wow..after doing all that I realized we had some really sh!tty players Ah - come on - you have a pretty good team there! If you take all those players in their prime - they would be able to beat this year's KC team which fired our coach
