zow2 Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 It's not under the radar, but the Air & Space museum over by Dulles Airport is really cool. Lot's of full size, famous planes. They also have a space shuttle in there. It's free to get in but like $10 to park.
DC Tom Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Any ideas on some under the radar things to do...thanks Shovel snow.

taterhill Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 Hey, what goes on in DC stays in DC. It is the land of "don't ask don't tell." Nice, thanks for sending me one of your bookmarks, but I'm all set
Beerball Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Can't go wrong with any of the Smithsonian Museums. Access is free and the metro will drop you off right 'there'. Wish I could give you some restaurant info but I found dining difficult anywhere near the 'Capital' area for dinner at least. The area is bustling during the day but I found everything shut down in the evening.
DC Tom Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Is this code for 'where do the prostitutes hang out'? 16th and P, roughly. The street-walkers, at least. The higher-priced call girls are on The Hill. Strippers are in Georgetown.
