LewPort71 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 The lil 'burgh in S WV where I reside just set a winter snowfall record at 101.4 inches. Previous record was 100.4 in 1995-1996. Normal snowfall total is 55 inches for a winter. I measure winter by how many times I use the snowblower. This season is it 5,,,so far.... 2008-2009 was 1 2007-2008 was nil. 2006-2007 was 1
Marv's Neighbor Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I hope Global Warming does not kick in or you guys will be treading water!
erynthered Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Well. I was wrong. I thought this was another Jimmy Johnson ExtenZe thread.

It's a *bit"* hilly... That was 20+ years ago. I hope the "you don't bother me, I don't bother you" way of living still persists there.
Chandler#81 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Just heard on local news that all 48 continental states have snow for the first time in recorded history. Actually, they included Alaska, claiming Hawaii is currently the only U.S. state snow free. Isn't there a mountain -Muana Loi, or something like that- there that always has a snow peak? Anyway, Global Warming my freezin' AZZ!

/dev/null Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 What about the other 9? The other 9 states don't have to worry about snow. They received enough Stimulus funding to cover snow removal

Unless you mess with the meth lab or the oxycondone supply. And with all the snow, I still drive 50 miles to and from work. Just takes a bit longer now....

Wed night I had a 4 wd drive John Deere tractor plow me out and put in a new road. The wind is a killer this year . If you catch my drift.
