Chi-town Bills Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Im not the type of person that thinks every FA should come to Buffalo, but Pierce could help. I know he is somewhat damaged goods and I don't think he is worth breaking the bank for, but if we can get him at a good price, which we might considering last season. It would not only give us the ability to draft a LB in the later rounds, but maybe re-united with Mitchell will spark something and he will regain form from the 07-08 season. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...ce_N.htm?csp=34

I'd rather go young and rebuild the right way, even if it means going 3-13 next season... The transition to the 3-4 will pose a lot of challenges for the FO to find the right talent... Having said that, I've always liked Pierce... He might be a decent stop-gap option inside next to Poz.. neither one of them are game changers by any means though....
DDD Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 The reason the Giants released him is he can't make plays anymore. He's done.

Pierce and Mitchell played behind one of the best defensive lines ever in those years there was no spark between them.
