Bob in STL Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4904863 Good news if true. Same thing can happen to Buffalo when Ralph is ready.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Good news if true. Same thing can happen to Buffalo when Ralph is ready. Okay...time to 'fess up. Which one of you is worth billions?? PTR
truth on hold Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Shahid Khan? Maybe we can have an Indian guy rescue the Bills too. At least a Persian.
Mr. WEO Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 What are the odds this ever gets sold to this guy? He's had significant money issues in the past, is a tax cheat ("i did nothing wrong") and I would imagine getting such a loan of this amount would be difficult for the Auto Parts King of Urbana.
DarthICE Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Shahid Khan? Maybe we can have an Indian guy rescue the Bills too. At least a Persian. Persian? Hell no..THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!
CarolinaBill Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 companys net income/yr=$500,000,000-$1,000,000,000, I think he's got the money
shrader Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 On another note, that article answered a question I always have whenever anyone mentions Jeremy Jacobs as a potential owner of the Bills. The owner of the Avalanche and Nuggets holds a minority share in the Rams, so Jacobs could at some point be a minority owner of the Bills (unless Kroenke is grandfathered in).
NobesBLO13 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Shahid Khan? Maybe we can have an Indian guy rescue the Bills too. At least a Persian. How about this guy? He's got some scratch, and could you imagine having Blue light squishies?
Bad Lieutenant Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Also worth mentioning is that the Rams sold for around 150 million less than the Forbes valuation of the team.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Shahid Khan? Maybe we can have an Indian guy rescue the Bills too. At least a Persian. I think we need a Spartan at the head of this business. :piratespartan:
Mr. WEO Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 companys net income/yr=$500,000,000-$1,000,000,000, I think he's got the money A company paying 12,000 workers and operating 45 plants all over the globe takes in $500,000,000 to a billion net on 2.1 billion revenue??????
SF Bills Fan Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 It will be interesting to see if the other owners allow this sale. They are pretty picky about who gets in the club. If there are red flags in his past, that might nix it. I'd rather just see the Rams go back to LA. They never should have left were it not for the fact that Georgia Fontiere saw some short term benefit to moving from the second largest market to a middle tier market that is really a baseball town and had already lost a team and didn't seem to care. If the Rams were still in LA, the value would be well over a billion dollars and they would have far more potential for making money. Way to go Georgia, nice vision.
