blzrul Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Have fun with it. No link yet, just announced.
IDBillzFan Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 "Have fun with it." You're a piece of work.
erynthered Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/08/rep-murtha-dead/
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Dollars to donuts his seat is filled by a Republican.
erynthered Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Have fun with it. No link yet, just announced. Its Bush's fault he died. Had Murtha not had to deal with Bush for the last eight years his gallblatter would be just fine.
Doc Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I saw this coming when I read he was in intensive care following his surgery, last week. RIP.
Wacka Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Sorry he died. He should have quit a while ago.
DC Tom Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 What are the stock answers to this? I can think of the obvious: "The traitor deserved it" line of thought, and various health care reform references. What am I missing? Maybe a good "term limits" joke?

He didn't have the gall for health care reform?
erynthered Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 He didn't have the gal for health care reform? He didnt have a leg to stand on??
Magox Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 He didn't have the gal for health care reform? If I replace the OL in LOL with IS (in silence) does that still make me evil?
Adam Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Come on people. The guy just died, can we please show some decency? He was an American public servant- whether you agreed with him politically is beside the point, show some human decency!
DC Tom Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Come on people. The guy just died, can we please show some decency? He was an American public servant- whether you agreed with him politically is beside the point, show some human decency! Yeah...I pretty much knew that wasn't going to happen, so I thought I'd try to get the ball rolling and get them out of the way as quickly as possible (sort-of a "rip the band-aid off fast" philosophy).
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Come on people. The guy just died, can we please show some decency? He was an American public servant- whether you agreed with him politically is beside the point, show some human decency! As a veteran, I respect his personal service. As an American, I revile his neo-French surrenderism. As a human being, I say RIP.
KD in CA Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 "He cut and ran?" Maybe "cut and just laid there". Seriously, RIP. No matter the politics, a veteran deserves some respect.
Wacka Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 People forget he was an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Abscam scandal back in 1980.
Alaska Darin Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Reigning in the Dummycrat machine, one term limit at a time. Sincerely, God
