Buffalo 66 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 The Saints sure get a lot of love, Im so sick of hearing about them I hope Peyton tears them apart today and they get embarassed on national TV.
Mr_Blizzard Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 The Saints sure get a lot of love, Im so sick of hearing about them I hope Peyton tears them apart today and they get embarassed on national TV. Wow that's cold. This is their first trip to the big show, give 'em some slack!
Gotta Dream Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I agree with these posts. Irrelevant is a better description than 'lovable loser'
sweet baboo Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 snowstorms don't draw any sympathy...what Buffalo needs is an alien invasion
silvermike Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Lovable losers tend to be goofy and bumbling, rather than just inept and pathetic. If the Bills were losing games on players running the wrong way, and other kinds of slide-whistle-appropriate buffoonery, we'd be lovable losers. But just getting outplayed by better talent doesn't get any love.

Moose Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 snowstorms don't draw any sympathy...what Buffalo needs is an alien invasion That really cracked me up - THANKS!
Ice Cold Bruschi Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 In the NFL there are no lovable losers unless you're losing the big one, if you're an annual basement dweller you're not a lovable loser you're just a loser. Peyton Manning was a lovable loser until 06, Marino and Elway were for most of their careers, the Bills used to be lovable losers, the Vikings, etc. Does anyone think the Lions are lovable losers? or the Browns, or the Bills, or the Chiefs? No they're just losers with nothing to love about them unless you're from their respective cities.

Canadian Bills Fan Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I think it's because everyone can't believe we lost 4 Super Bowls in a row. I know someone who is a Lions fan and he laughed when I told him I was a Bills fan. I asked why and thats the reason he gave. Ever since then, when in similar scenerios, I get that same answer
gregkash Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I can tell you're a liberal. America loves someone who comes from nothing and makes something of himself. See: Dick Clark or Henry Ford or any one of hundreds of other American entrepeneurs or sports heroes. the only like them AFTER they make something of themselves. No one gave a **** about dick clark or henry ford when they were nothing.. and the bills right now are nothing.
Tasmo Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Who wants to be a loser of any kind or gives a sh*t about what other chumps think of the Bills. All they need to do is kick the sh*t out of the Patriots, Jets, Fins, and any other teams that come to the Ralph or some Toronto back Alley and people will notice and respect. Until then we shouldn't wait on any accolades or pity like Buffalo and the Bills are some sort of joke entertainment. (rumblin bumblin blah blah blah blah) All they need is a stiff uppercut and a few dominant seasons to shut em up.
Bullpen Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 You forgot to toss NE* into the current group douchebag. Well you really are back to mid-season form aren't you?!?!?
scream780 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I think the media would jump on a Bills resurgence if it happens/sustains itself. I remember several stories just last year when we were 5-1. If they were willing to consider us then, just imagine if we actually put together a winning program consistently.
