billnutinphoenix Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 4th or 5th rounder at most...I live in Phoenix and see him as a guy who can play about 8 games a year....Although I like him more at this point than TO...
Pete Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Boldin and Marshall are the two best after the catch in the NFL IMO
Dawgg Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 That is a fair arguement. But a playmaker is a playmaker, and you cant have enough of those. The colts had Peyton, Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison and Dwight Freeney for a while. We can afford Lee and Anquan if we do it right, and draft right. BTW the youtube video in your signature has been removed by user. Just thought you should know Yeah that was a video of Donte Whitner getting run over by Sammy Morris. I think the Bills need to build through the draft and make solid selections... players who have produced day in and day out, not the likes of John McCargo and Whitner.
iinii Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I don't see (or want) the Bills to tie up that much money at WR when there are gaping holes all over this team. Agreed. Boldin would be a wonderful addition at WR but is that the identity of the team we need in Buffalo, one that can pound the rock when we need to?
aristocrat Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 guy would be a stud in our uni. tough as nails and would be the possession receiver we need.
Gotta Dream Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 What is his contract status? I remember him putting up a stink to renegotiate because Fitzgerald was getting paid so much more.
Alphadawg7 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Agreed. He's worth as high as a second but if I were the Bills I'd offer our 3rd. Actually he is worth a first in terms of talent...he is a top 5 WR in this league. They wont get a first, and I dont want to part with our first, but in terms of talent is an Elite player. That being said, I would be ecstatic if we got him for a 3rd and still just as estatic if we got him for a second
jr1 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I love his talent I'm just not sure if he'd act like a diva
Mr. WEO Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 with 1 yr maybe 2 left on his deal he will want huge money to extend, or he could just bolt when his contract is up, so trading a high value pick for a guy that may only be here 1-2 yrs is a bad idea, IMO, if we did make a move for him, he has to extend the deal first We've blown "high value" picks on benchwarmers like Parrish and Hardy. Also, I would pay for Boldin over TO in second.
robkmil Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I don't think that WR is our biggest need but He is good enough for a 3rd rounder.
