How in the world is it possible that Edward G Robinson never got NOMINATED for an Oscar?? [Lead or supporting.] F'ing unbelievable. Such an amazing movie. A brilliant under the radar film he did was The Red House. A Delmer Daves film like 1940-whatever. I think you meant "Double Indemnity" - one of my favorite movies/books and probably one his best acting jobs. Even in a supporting role his presence drives the movie's tension.
